“ Food price reasonable, jigesh service was good, they keep everything clean, they have everything for kids too. ”
“ Tasty food nice ambience enjoyed masala tea and khaman dhokla and clean premises one should try Vijaya ”
“ Half of the inside is for dining, half is mini-grocery. Looks like a legit Indian food place which says vegetarian options on the description. Would have been nice if samples were offered so we know what desserts to buy from the lovely food aisles. Anyway, ended up buying snacks like cashew and some sort of crunchy bread that looked familiar. Restroom inside. Near the main road, within BAPS which is something worthwhile to visit. ”
“ Really glad we came by to try this place! By the time we arrived last Saturday, it was past 7pm, so the made-to-order part of the cafe was no longer available, but we still were able to purchase a number of prepackaged delicious offerings: chili paneer, swaminarayan khichidi, handvo, papadino lot, veggie curry, and rotli. We also tried the gughra (freshly fried that day, the super helpful person behind the counter informed me) and... something else that was very sweet, crumbly, and yellow in color. But we were BIG fans of everything -- for me, the handvo stood out in particular. I had never eaten anything like that before, but it was delicious at room temperature with coffee! ”
“ Love trying the different varieties of cuisine, especially Indian Gujarati. This is near the Hindu Temple and has many great dishes and dry snacks to choose from. Prices are affordable and lots of community members are in and out so you know it is a gem. A must try if you're around the area and looking for good South Asian eats Ordered - Mango Lassi (4/5). Smooth, creamy, and tasty (anything Mango is a plus!) - Samosa (5/5). Wow, this is really good. The bites are hot and the "bbq-tangy" sauce that comes with it really complements well - Thali (5/5). Love it, it is the take-out buffet with the different sauces and rice. The curries are fresh, hot, and so yummy ”
“ BAPS Shayona Cafe promotes vegetarianism among people of all faiths, as well as the devotional Hindu diet among practitioners of the Hindu faith. Complete your visit at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir with a meal at Shayona Café. With its all-vegetarian cuisine, Shayona Café is the perfect way to experience some traditional and authentic tastes of India. This cafe is located after you enter the temple premises on your left. The food is 100% vegetarian, without onions and garlic and its scrumptious and taste like homemade food. You may select from various menu options at their fast food counter, sit down and enjoy your fresh meal with friends and family. Shayona Café also offers daily fresh packaged snacks and sweets to take home. They are open daily between 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. BAPS Shayona Cafe also offers catering services for all occasions. Apart from the dry packaged food, fresh different meals are also available. Indian cuisines like Gujarati, South Indian, Pizzas, Sandwiches and much more things are available. The Packet food like Dhoklas, Khandvi and Pedas are very fresh and recommended and not to forget Jalebi. Appreciate the volunteers working round the clock to avail the authentic taste back home. All the staff here are volunteers. Everyone is nice, friendly and humble. Quality of food is very good. Neat and clean place. Too many sweets and Farsan options. You can seat there and eat also. I Love the Samosas, Sugarcane juice and Mango Lassi here. Prices are very reasonable. Whatever the profits they make out of the restaurant they donate to the temple. I love that idea. Everything was so delicious. Can't wait to try other menu items. Ample free car parking available. I will definitely go again. ”
“ Wow! What an awesome experience! It was absolutely wonderful to feel emersed in another culture! We had the samosa , friend lentil balls and some Indian sodas ! The samosas were soooo fresh and full of spices. The lentil balls were initially sweet but as you ate it became more savory and you really were able to appreciate all the flavors We took the audio guided tour at the Temple that is adjacent which was very informative, even if you don't most of the major images have descriptions and information regarding what you are viewing. We were able to be a part of a small ceremony which was very reverent. The grounds are so beautifully manicured. You are required to take of your shoes to enter the temple so you can tell the floor is very clean. The cravings are so intricate! It's incredible how they were able to achieve that amount of detail in stone! The smells, the sounds, and the views are mesmerizing! I would love to come back here and to be a part of a religious or cultural festivity! ”
“ I stopped in here for a bite and was impressed. This hidden gem is housed on the grounds of the BAPS Temple in Lilburn. I searched Yelp for an indian spot and this place came up. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food was fresh and I had a great time. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in!!! ”
